Page 1 of 5 The Standard Group offers several methods to transfer files to and from our servers depending on your needs. Each method has pros and cons that may influence your decision of which method to use. If you choose to transfer files using FTP, SFTP, HTTP or HTTPS, the user name and password you choose to connect is the same and your files are delivered to the same location on our servers. When we set up a private account for you, every time you upload a file to our servers, both your CSR and the appropriate production departments are automatically notified when your file has been uploaded. Once you log in, you will be placed in the main directory of your CSR's folder or your private folder. This is where you place your files for print production. You will also notice two additional folders in your main directory, “Public Files” and “Mailing Lists”. The “Public Files” folder contains files and documents in three folders Print, Mail and Web that will contain useful information that we wish to share with all of our customers. The “Mailing Lists” folder is connected to our Mailing and Fulfillment Division and like your main directory, will notify your CSR and the appropriate production departments when a file is uploaded to it. This is the folder where you will place the mailing list(s) associated with your print job. The next few pages of this document contain specific instructions on accessing our servers via the available methods. |
